Got Questions? We got answers!
I am not sure what services I need, can you advise me?
Yes. One of our registered nurses will meet with each client prior to beginning services. They will assess your specific needs to determine the level of skill required to adequately meet your needs.
What services do you provide?
Our caregivers can assist with the (ADLs) activities of daily living (transferring/ambulation, bathing, grooming, dressing, eating, and toileting) as well as (IADLs) instrumental activities of dailty living such as meal preparation, laundry, light housekeeping, and accompanying you on errands.
How quickly can services be provided?
Once the needs assessment is complete our registered nurse will complete a care plan and recommend the level of skill required to meet your needs. If acceptable, care can begin right away.
What are your credentials?
We are licensed by the Maryland Department of Health as a Residential Service Agency (RSA) to serve individuals residing in the state of Maryland. We are also bonded and insured. Our Director of Nursing has many years of experience in the field.
How do you screen your aides?
We conduct a thorough hiring process that includes in-person interviews, reference and criminal background checks on all applicants as well as verification of certificates and licenses for certified and licensed applicants All applicants are required to be up-to-date with their health screenings and have a current CPR certification.
Can I participate in choosing a caregiver?
Yes, you can. We work diligently to make sure that caregivers and clients are a good match which promotes our efforts of providing safe and competent care to the client, as well as ensuring the safety of our caregivers. Clients are encouraged to request for a different caregiver if the current caregiver is not compatible.
Will the same caregiver come each day?
We pride ourselves in providing consistent and competent care which is only possible if we send the same competent caregiver consistently. Time to time, we may send a compatible caregiver to care for you when your regular caregiver is unavailable.
